Atlantic Beach vacation rental booking tips:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines contain deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Planning, picking, and booking the rightrental home:

  • Start by selecting your the best vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. OCEANFRONT...Clean, Cozy, Comfy...Family Oriented, WELL MAINTAINED has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property management company before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must book a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the host right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
