Located feet away from the Intracoastal Waterway. Bring your boat; you have complimentary access to our private ramp with "no" wait time and room to park your car, boat/trailer, or 2 cars if you don't have a boat. Don't have a boat? Fish off our fishing pier and clean your fish at the end of the dock, or sit and relax and watch the yachts and dolphins going by daily. We are a pet-friendly Vacation Rental, and there is a pet fee. There is a King-sized bed in the primary bedroom, bunk beds in the private area, and a loft with a futon. There is a full bath, kitchen, and the living room. Rustic on the outside, Frenchy on the inside. The 10ft deep shaded porch is a great place to gather in the afternoon and evening. We offer self-check-in. But please stop by the office to sign in and pick up literature to make your stay more delightful. We are more than happy to help you. Janet is a local and is our concierge and can help guide you to the locations you are interested in and restaurant choices.

About the Area

Beaufort is home to this cabin. Bock Marine and Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Arts and Things Gallery and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting.

Getting the most from your budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in the Crystal Coast area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To make sure that damages aren't linked to your stay, make a record of any problem areas during check in. Speak to the property manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
