Starfish Cottage is freshly remodeled and has two bedrooms and can accommodate five people – One bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed and the Master bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom. There are 2 full baths (showers, no tubs). The front porch has a swing, chairs and a great view of the historic Beaufort Courthouse Square. There is a separate living room, a separate dining room, a full supplied kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, central heat/ac, WIFI, extended cable, phone, cruiser bicycles and helmets, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, body boards, cooler, and a four burner propane grille. Coffee, paper products, and soaps (laundry and dishwasher detergents, and soaps) are included for short stays. The Starfish Cottage includes one parking spot. We are pet friendly, and 1 “well behaved” dog can accompany you with the payment of a $60 non-returnable pet fee. NO SMOKING.

This first floor unit facing the pool sleeps four, with a convenient queen-sized Murphy bed and quell-sized pull-out couch bed. It is just steps away from a big pool and has a cute kiddie pool too for the little ones. Across the street is a private beach area with sandy beaches where you can soak up some sun, go swimming, build sand castles or just relax. In the evenings, you might want to sit on the sound-side of the facility under the gazebo, or on the gliding chairs and watch the boats go by. Like to grille out? There are grilles out on the lawn area where you can prepare your favorite foods or catch of the day if you go fishing. And speaking of fishing, you can charter one of many boats to take you for a fishing excursion you will never forget. There are also water taxis that can take you to local islands or go on a sightseeing adventure. You might see the wild horses on Shackleford Banks or even get a glimpse of Blackbeard! Visit the local parks, award winning seafood eateries, beach stores, hiking trails or water parks. Like history? Visit the Fort Macon State Park, the second most visited park in NC. Construction of the present fort began in 1826. Fort Macon was a federal prison from 1867 to 1876. You will walk through the fort and feel that you are back in time. Welcome to Pirate's Hideaway! Located in handsome Pine Knoll Shores, Beachwalk is right across the street from the Aquarium and the Roosevelt Natural area. Pirate's Hideaway is located on the first floor (no stairs to climb) making it a breeze to unload and easier to access for our more seasoned guests. As you enter, you will be drawn to the gorgeous vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. The outdoor space spans the entire width of the unit, accepting access from the living room as well as a private entrance to the master bedroom. You will savor oceanfront vistas and hear the waves crashing on the shore from your roomy private deck or from the beach inspired open-concept living room and kitchen. From the deck take a very short walk (30 paces Matey!) along a wooden walkway to the beach. The pool is located next to the unit so you can watch your kids play and call them in for dinner without ever leaving your back deck. After you gather for drinks at the gazebo watching the sunset, relax in the oceanfront king master suite complete with it's own adjoining bathroom (modernized 2022) or in one of the other two bedrooms both with their own bathrooms (both freshly tiled and one with a new tub 2021). The condo also features a sleeper couch ensuring everybody has sufficient space to spread out and accommodates 8 people comfortably.The unit is completely outfitted to ensure your comfort and reduce your need to over pack. Items include traditional coffee maker, Keurig, blender, 4 slice toaster, cookware, etc. There is also a bar area with drink refrigerator, a full size washer and dryer and deck furnishings. Linens are supplied with your rental (sheets and towels) as well as a pack-n-play, booster seat, games and puzzles. We also have a few beach chairs, umbrella, and floats for your convenience.
