2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms / Two Blocks from the Waterfront
Welcome to our Starfish Cottage! Starfish Cottage is newly refreshed and has two bedrooms and can accommodate five people – One bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed and the Master bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom. There are 2 full baths (showers, no tubs). The front porch has a swing, chairs and a great view of the historic Beaufort Courthouse Square. There is a separate living room, a separate dining room, a full outfitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, central heat/ac, WIFI, extended cable, phone, cruiser bicycles and helmets, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, body boards, cooler, and a four burner propane grille. Coffee, paper products, and soaps (laundry and dishwasher detergents, and soaps) are supplied for short stays. The Starfish Cottage includes one parking spot. We are pet friendly, and 1 “well behaved” dog can accompany you with the payment of a $60 non-returnable pet fee. NO SMOKING.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is in the city center. Beaufort Historic Site and Core Creek Bridge are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Morehead City Yacht Basin and Town Creek Marina. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting.

  • To get the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to drive more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
