Welcome to Surf/Break, a retro surfing-themed bungalow remodeled with new floors, furnishings, and artwork in 2022. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is located just 528 feet from the beach and 0.40 miles from the sound.
Original features like wood paneling, tiled bathrooms, and laminate counters have been preserved to maintain this home’s comfortable vibe. The roomy deck is located in the maritime forest and features a enormous outdoor shower.
The beach is a short walk away, or appreciate the convenience of gated beach parking that grants handicap access and additional outdoor showers, just 200 steps from the front door.
Guests at Surf/Break will have access to neighborhood parks for ocean and sound access. Highlights of the parks include three private boat ramps (with parking), kayak launch, pier, basketball court, covered picnic area, park grilles, playground, and sunset viewing area. Parks include Hammer Park, Garner Park, McNeil Park, Brock Basin, and Ocean Park.
When you're ready to discover beyond the beach, Pine Knoll Shores offers plenty of activities for the whole family, including hiking trails, wildlife refuges, and an award-winning aquarium. Surf/Break features painless access to all the action at Atlantic Beach, Morehead City and historic Beaufort. Several eateries and a grocery store are a fast five-min. drive from Surf/Break. And at the end of the day, come back to Surf/Break and relax on the cavernous deck while calming in the maritime forest and listening to the calming sound of the waves.
