Located in an oceanfront complex with a swimming pool, clubhouse, pickle ball/tennis courts, walkway to beach and outside shower all in a convenient location on the island.

Sound of the Sea 123 East is an Oceanfront townhouse with 4 Bedrooms and 2 1/2 Baths. There are three living levels and ocean vistas from mid and top levels. Ground Level: Queen Bedroom with private patio access to the beach, full bath. Bedroom #2 has a Double Bed and Twin Bunk set. Level One: Living Area with a Flat Screen Color Cable TV. Dining Area. Kitchen/Bar area with microwave & dishwasher, 1/2 bathroom. There is a Covered Deck with furnishings off living on this level. Level Two: Bedroom with King bed, private deck with furnishings and ocean vistas! Bedroom with Queen Bed & Twin Bunk Set (in same room). Shared Bath.

Additional Conveniences Flat Screen TVs, cable, Central heat & air, washer/dryer, deck furnishings includes table & chairs.

No Smoking in or on property, Animals Accepted (up to two modest or medium dogs stay complimentary, no huge dogs, no cats).

PARKING INFORMATION: Each reservation will receive 2 Gate Cards and 2 Parking Passes (2 cars max). Sound of the Sea does not have overflow parking. ***Lost Gate Card Fee is $75, Lost Parking Pass Fee is $50.***

Reminder: The modest complex pool will reopen in the spring for guest use!

Please Note: Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

Located in Emerald Isle, this condo is by the ocean. Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Croatan National Forest and Emerald Isle Woods Park.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best rental within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Crystal Coast restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
