This ~1000 sq ft, oceanfront, oceanview, poolside condo is ideal for a fast hideaway or a week-long family vacation. The amenities in the Summerwinds community are unlike any other in the area! Game room, Indoor heated pool, Gym, Grilling areas, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts. The condo is cutely furnished and has all the conveniences of home for calming to watch a movie, taking an afternoon nap, or sitting on the oceanfront patio to savor morning coffee.

About the Area

Indian Beach is home to this condo. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Country Club of the Crystal Coast are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Beach Wheels Bike Rental and Coral Bay Shopping Center. Flatwaters Paddling and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are also worth visiting.

Tricks and tips to get the optimal vacation property experience:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Crystal Coast area. To find the most suitable rental within budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Crystal Coast restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Finding the perfect vacation home:

  • Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and select a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Oceanfront, Poolside, Summerwinds, ton of amenities has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the host before reserving your home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what bed configuration is right for your vacation group.
  • Does your group require unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
  • If your family is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
  • Note any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of concerns.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
