Conch Inn has sizable picnic table for enchanting family meals Alfresco with vistas of the Ocean, Pier, Surfers and Groups of Dolphins visiting every morning and afternoon. Cavernous Great Room. Central Air and Heat. Substantial deck with an abundance of deck furnishings & rockers. The Sunshine and soft Ocean Breeze make the food and refreshments taste even better. Watch the waves roll in as the cares of the day fade away in NEW Adirondack chairs while you decompress from the routine grind of daily life, or you can read the latest summer novel. Spend the evening hours on the dune dock when the ocean breeze is the strongest. The pier is a slow five-min. walk; there the action never stops. The pier homes one of the Island's best Eateries. Convenient to shopping, eateries and public boat launch. Come one!! Come all and bring your friends to savor the delights of summer to the fullest.

Find your perfect rental home:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Crystal Coast area. Booking your Crystal Coast vacation home in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast area magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local shops and restaurants.

  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you book the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your trip.
  • Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.

  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • Upon check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
