Atlantic Beach just made #16 in the list of Top 100 Beaches in the United States, beating out even beaches in Hawaii! Truly a hidden gem, as this part of the island doesn't have public access, beyond a few cars, so it's just folks staying right there. https://www.wect.com/2023/06/21/100-best-beach-towns-us/

Full kitchen, two full bathrooms, two master king bedrooms, additional room with dual twin trundle and queen murphy bed, additional queen murphy bed in massive living room, dining room, multiple desks for work needs, laundry in unit, beach outdoor shower. Home away from home!

Parking:
If there is no reservation in the other units, please feel complimentary to use the entire driveway. It will fit six cars. However if there is another reservation, please be sure to park your car(s) on the left of the driveway, leaving the right side for the other unit. The driveway fits a total of six cars, so if you were to have more than three, you can park in the street as well.

How to find the best Atlantic Beach vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a rental home budget:

  • Summer is high season in Atlantic Beach. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is a good way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies supply Crystal Coast area visitors guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing and booking the bestrental home:

  • Start by having your group commit to date ranges and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Barefoot Beach Club North: Your Beachside Haven has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what is best for your family.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Note that some property owners charge additional pet fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. Store the host's information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the property manager immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
