Strategies to get the perfect Crystal Coast vacation property experience:

Get the best rental home value:

  • Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, management companies supply Crystal Coast area visitors guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning and picking the bestrental home:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Surf Capsule suite - coastal retreat in iconic Atlantic Beach has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the owner's contact info to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Upon arrival, make note of any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Keep your property safe!

  • After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to propel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
