An adorable home with a great backyard overlooking wetlands. It is like being in a private getaway with a hot tub handy to ease the aches and pains of your day after a fishing trip or sitting back and appreciating a cold drink after a jaunt around town. Equipped with an open floor plan accepting conversation, fun, games, and more between the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Lots of space for family or guests to spread out with 3 bedrooms (Sleeps 8!). Room for a boat, RV, or any of your outdoor activity cars with the side parking (and access to a public boat ramp is one mile down the road off of Lennoxville Rd). Stop at Mill Whistle Brewing on your way to savor the waterfront of Taylor's Creek, just a 7 min. walk from the home. Continue taking Front Street to get to downtown Beaufort and appreciate vistas of passing boats, wild horses, bicycle riders, dolphins and perhaps pirates. You can't beat the sunsets! We looking forward to having you. Boat pictured is 29ft - can accommodate.

Strategies to get the optimal Crystal Coast rental home experience:

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking your vacation home in Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast area magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

How to pick the perfect vacation rental:

  • To start, have your family select date ranges and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration you need. Cozy Beaufort Home with Hot Tub and Boat Driveway has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If not, call the property management company before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • If there's a particular Crystal Coast destination you love, keep an eye out for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Note any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
