Tips and Tricks to get the best rental home experience:

How to get the best value:

  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer is high season in Atlantic Beach. Booking your vacation rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Crystal Coast area visitors guide magazines which include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing and booking your prefectrental:

  • Begin by selecting your a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. First-Floor Condo Steps from the Beach with Shared Pools, Hot Tub, Game Room has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property management company before reserving the property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your vacation group.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • If there's a specific Crystal Coast attraction you simply love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Upon check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
