Kick back and relax in this calm, beautiful beach bungalow. Sit on the back patio or on the private dock and appreciate the handsome vistas and serenity of the canal. Guests also have convenient access to the beach- just a short walk away.
A grille and fire pit are supplied, as well as, an outdoor shower with hot/cold water.
Guests also have the ability to rent the sister property (Coastal A) at the same time as Coastal B and be given access to the connecting door- so you can have the whole family stay.
The space
Coastal Soul B is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom duplex and a ideal place to spend a week or weekend away. This unit has handsome vistas of the sound and offers convenient access to the beach. Sit on the back patio or on the private dock and savor the serenity.
A grille and fire pit are included, as well as, an outdoor shower with hot/cold water.
Private dock (shared with Coastal A) is for fishing and sitting only. NO boat docking at this time.
Guest access
Guests have access to all parts of the duplex, a private patio and outdoor shower. Parking is in front of the unit on a paved area.
The dock is shared between both rental units.

About the Area

Atlantic Beach is home to this vacation home. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Anchorage Marina and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway are also worth visiting.

Finding the best value:

  • To find the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine when you check-in.   • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what is suitable for your trip.
  • If there's a particular Crystal Coast beach you love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.

Tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Make a record of any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
