"Chateau Relaxo" is an end unit condo located on the top floor that has everything you need for a calming vacation in Atlantic Beach. The unit is located in the sound side community of Bogue Shores Suites. With convenient ocean access directly across the street and the Inter-coastal Waterway in the complex's backyard, this condo will not disappoint. Days at "Chateau Relaxo" can be spent beach side fishing, reading, and building sandcastles or at the community pool which is one of the biggest on the island. Evenings turn into cooking on the communal grilles with a cold drink and beautiful sound view.

The condo's refreshed bathroom has a corner shower with full size vanity/sink. It also features a new pillow top King Mattress and is equipped with a brand new 50 inch Vizio Intelligent TV, two burner stove, toaster oven, and fold out dinette. The kitchen and bathroom have granite counter-tops throughout. Sleeper Couch converts into a Queen Bed with bed pad for additional guests if needed.

Savor a nighttime out at delicious seafood eateries and visit local stores. Many attractions await in Atlantic Beach and the surrounding areas. We welcome you and look forward to your next visit.

About the Area

Atlantic Beach is home to this apartment. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway are also worth visiting.

Sticking to a rental budget:

Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
