Want the RV experience but don’t have an RV? That's not a problem! If you are considering purchasing an RV and want to try out RV living without buying one, we have added an RV to our vacation units. It is a 2022, 28-foot 5th Wheel with two slides that we are now renting as a Vacation Rental. It has a queen-sized bed with plenty of storage space for all your belongings, a full kitchen and bath, a Intelligent TV, a fireplace in the living room and bedroom, and a dining area/living room area. The RV sleeps two comfortably, but the dining room booths convert to a double bed.

The RV is close to the Intracoastal Waterway and a short distance to Historic Beaufort, Havelock, Newport, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. Bring your boat, you have complimentary access to the boat ramp and fishing pier. We have boats to rent for ½ and a full day on-site. We can hook (no pun intended) you up with a charter boat if you want to fish offshore. Downtown Beaufort has an array of marvelous stores and alluring eateries. When you book, we will give you a map of the area, coupons, and a special offer when you return!

Our top Rental booking tips and tricks:

How to get the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Crystal Coast area visitor guides which will include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose and book the best Crystal Coast vacation home:

  • Start by having your group agree to trip dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Charming RV in Fantastic Beaufort with AC, WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property owner before booking the home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your family.
  • If there's an individual Crystal Coast destination you are enamored with, keep an eye out for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or applied to your contract.

Know before you go:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • During arrival, make note of any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
