This cavernous beach home is just steps away from the beach and, in our opinion, on the best part of the island! The beach access is only five homes away, rarely busy, in a serene residential area. The home is clean, bright and sunny and filled with everything you’ll need to have a comfortable and memorable vacation! Fresh white linens and towels are supplied and beds are made upon arrival.

This beachside home is located in a safe and peaceful neighborhood away from the hordes and noise while also being convenient to everything! It's less than a 3 min. walk to the beach, close to eateries, stores, grocery stores, and many other attractions. The EI bicycle path leads directly to our neighborhood and you can bicycle just about everywhere too! There's a newly refreshed playground for the kids in our neighborhood just down the street. You can relax and appreciate the calming sound of ocean waves from one of two decks all day long, whether you're eating at the picnic table on the sunny top deck or appreciating the shade in an adirondack chair on the middle deck. We've supplied the closet with games and books for you enjoyment, and the kitchen has everything you'll need to feel at home too! For your tranquility of mind, we also have an AWESOME property assistant close by should any problems arise during your stay.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is near the beach. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Croatan National Forest and Emerald Isle Woods Park. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to compel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation.
