This handsome freshly modernized Beachfront Cottage in Emerald Isle is just ideal. A little bit of Heaven right on the beach. Just step off the deck directly onto the sand and catch the next big wave or relax in a chair reading your favorite book. This excellent Emerald Isle Vacation home has 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, and Sleeps 8. The Master bedroom has a King-size bed and a Twin-size daybed with a private bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms both have queen-sized beds. There is a full bathroom in the hallway. Our advice? Just walk in the front door and let the fun begin! Who knows, you may even SEE turtles at See Turtle Cottage! ????

Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Flatwaters Paddling are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Beach Wheels Bike Rental and Emerald Plantation. When to visit & When to book:

  • Summertime is high season in Emerald Isle. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses.   • Respect the neighborhood. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
