We are happy to share our home with you and really hope you get to savor it as much as we do. The original rustic beach bungalow was constructed in 1950 the addition finished in 2012. Our bungalow of the 50's features original knotty pine walls and ceilings to give you that comfortable secure feeling that we all need these days. It offers cavernous front and back decks with ocean vistas to the front and modest sound view to the back.

About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this cottage is near theme parks and near the beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Anchorage Marina and Triple S Marina. Traveling with kids? Consider North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, or check out an event or a game at Big Rock Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

• Walk through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did you have a excellent time? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
