Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
• Property management companies often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
