We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college home events, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $750 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

About the Area

Located in Pine Knoll Shores, this condo is on the beach. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway. Flatwaters Paddling and North Carolina Maritime Museum are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Crystal Coast area. Booking your Crystal Coast vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is an excellent way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often available online. Otherwise, call the property management company before you book the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your vacation.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.

Additional considerations:

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
