Or, follow the walkway to the striking, white-sand beach where you can ride the waves, build sandcastles, and collect seashells.

This generously furnished condo features all the amenities of home and all the conveniences of a great vacation. Use the elevator and bags carts for simple access and be greeted by a comfortable living room that's great for cooling down and watching TV (with an HDTV cable package) after a sunny day spent on the beach. Allow yourself to be carried away by the elegant view of the ocean as you kick back in a rocking chair on the screened-in balcony just off the living room.

The entirely equipped kitchen, with all major and modest appliances and new granite countertops, makes cooking for the family a breeze. Don’t forget the courtyard has grilles if you're in the mood for burgers or steaks. At mealtime, gather the family around the six-person dining table; if you need additional seating, there are stools at the counter next to the table so everybody can join in on the fun.

When it’s time for lights out, you have three bedrooms waiting to lull you to sleep. After the kids have washed away the beach in the conveniently located hall bath, you can tuck them into the two twin beds. This room also offers the convenience of a TV and a private half-bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a TV. As for the primary bedroom, you'll find a king bed, a TV, a private bath with a shower stall, and a private oceanfront balcony. Strategies for getting the perfect vacation rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby accommodations and attractions.

Choosing the perfect vacation rental in Atlantic Beach:

  • To start, have your group choose a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Oceanfront, First-Floor Condo with Lovely View, Balconies, WiFi & Shared Pool has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is regularly available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property management company before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs applied to your invoice.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, make note of any problem areas during arrival. text the host right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to propel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
