Sticking to a spending budget:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the largest rental home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
• The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Booking websites often offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance.
