This gorgeously remodeled three-bedroom, two-bath condo at the Sound of the Sea complex is a true coastal gem, featuring tasteful and unique decor that makes it a standout. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, with all-new furnishings and finishes throughout. Located in an end unit, this condo offers gorgeous ocean vistas from nearly every room. The sleeping arrangements include two king beds and a full-over-queen bunk, ideal for families or groups.

The entirely equipped kitchen is both chic and functional, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, microwave, traditional drip coffee maker, and Keurig. Unwind in the living room with a 55-inch Intelligent TV, one of four flat-screen TVs in the condo, or step onto the furnished, covered porch to appreciate sweeping ocean vistas. With central air and heat, a washer and dryer, and simple access to the beach just one building away, every comfort has been considered.

This first-floor unit, located in the West building with elevator access, includes two designated parking spaces. The Sound of the Sea complex offers fabulous amenities, including wireless internet, a community pool, tennis courts, and a gated entry. Appreciate the convenience of close by stores, eateries, mini-golf, and water slides. Linens are included, with beds made for your arrival, and units typically run Saturday to Saturday, with flexible stays available. For the comfort of all guests, this condo maintains a no-smoking and no-family pets policy.

Located in Emerald Isle, this condo is near the beach. Find your perfect vacation home:

  • In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, try changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.

  • Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to stimulate future bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
