This spectacular tucked-away rental sports the most exceptional sunrise in Carteret County as it rises over Harkers Island bridge. Life is slower here where the egrets fish in the marsh and dolphins play as the tide lazily rolls in. This 1800-sq-ft comfortable bungalow has been freshly modernized and features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, full capacity laundry room, and roomy living and entertaining areas, including two outdoor decks for additional leisure. Plenty of space to park boat and trailer in yard. Male and female beach cruiser bicycles supplied for meandering through town. Brand new dock that is 12-foot on the T. Catch crabs in the crab pot included and fish off the dock. No swimming due to oyster rocks in the marsh and shallow water. Bring your kayaks for fantastic adventures through the marsh. How to book the best Crystal Coast vacation property experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best value, consider shifting your family's Crystal Coast vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Crystal Coast area visitors guides which include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose the perfect vacation rental in Beaufort:

  • Start by having your family commit to dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Beau Point: Dog-Friendly Waterfront w\/dock \"Where live oaks meet the sea…” has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Crystal Coast rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's an individual Crystal Coast destination you simply love, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • At Check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to propel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
