How to get the best Crystal Coast rental home experience:

When to visit Atlantic Beach & When to reserve a Atlantic Beach rental home:

  • Book your Crystal Coast vacation home in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Choosing the best rental in the Crystal Coast area:

  • Begin by choosing vacation dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. 1 bedroom condo at Beach Resort has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the host before you book your home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what bed configuration is best for your trip.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or charges could be applied to your invoice.

Tips to have a wonderful stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of issues.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
