When to go & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation in Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance.   • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to drive more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback.
