On the grounds of the complex, you'll have access to an outdoor pool and sundeck, a gazebo for grilling and picnicking, a volleyball court, and a rec room with foosball and pool tables.

This first-floor condo is a beach-goer's delight, with public beach access (including a playground, outdoor showers, and bathrooms) one block away. It's also the ideal setting for exploring, with Fort Macon State Park (one mile), the Atlantic Beach Skatepark (two miles), and the North Carolina Aquarium (seven miles) close by. For great shopping and dining, head into downtown Atlantic Beach (less than two miles), Morehead City (four miles), or Beaufort (eight miles).

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is by the sea. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway are also worth visiting. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses.   • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
  • Record any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great stay? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
