You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection.   • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all of your things. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
