Located feet away from the Intracoastal Waterway. Bring your boat; you have complimentary access to our private ramp with "no" wait time. Don't have a boat? Fish off our fishing pier and clean your fish at the end of the dock or sit and relax and watch the yachts and dolphins going by daily. We are a pet-friendly Vacation Rental, and there is a pet fee. There is a Queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom and bunk beds in the private area; the kids may want to bring their sleeping bags and sleep in the loft, even if they are 20+. There is a full bath, kitchen, and the living room. Rustic on the outside, beachy on the inside. The 10ft deep shaded porch is a great place to gather in the afternoon and evening. We offer self-check-in. But please stop by the office to sign in and pick up literature to make your stay more delightful. We will be more than happy to assist you. We are just 10 mins. away from Historic Beaufort. Fabulous unique shopping and eateries, boating trips to Shackleford, and book an eco-tour of the Rachel Carson Estuary, Mariners Museum, Beaufort Historical grounds, and art museum. Scenic bus tours of Beaufort or boat tours to see dolphins. You can even take a sunset cruise on the Lookout sailboat.   • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.

  • Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Record any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
