The annual Wooden Boat Show is a tradition in the town of Beaufort, and its 49th celebration in 2025 promises to be bigger and more engaging than ever before. With a long roster of activities that are slated for the weekend-long event, visitors will be treated to a wealth of activities, displays, exhibits, and interactive ways to join in the fun.
The Annual Wooden Boat Show shines a spotlight on the legacy of boatbuilding in the Beaufort and Crystal Coast / Down East regions, and multiple venues and landmarks through downtown Beaufort will be hosting activities for attendees to enjoy. The North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort serves as a primary hub for the event, with a wealth of displays on current and historic boats at the museum, and dotted throughout the town. The event also features a fun and lively opening reception with music and food throughout the night, special activities like free sails on a wooden boat along the waterfront, and plenty of fun, food, and – of course – wooden boats in every direction. With so much to see and do, it’s no wonder that the 45th Annual Wooden Boat Show has become one of Beaufort’s most anticipated events of the year.
